NEW DELHI: Storage solutions<\/a> provider Western Digital<\/a> on Wednesday launched new products under its SanDisk Professional<\/a> brand including the SanDisk<\/a> Professional Pro G-40 SSD, G-RAID Shuttle SSD, G-Drive enterprise-class desktop hard drive, and Pro-Dock 4 reader docking station.

Western Digital in a statement said these SanDisk products are centered on delivering \u201chigh-performance, scalable, and reliable solutions\u201d for today\u2019s creators. It added that these devices<\/a> will play a role at every step of production \u2013 from capturing and transferring to editing and archiving \u2013 to help manage production assets effectively and reliably.

Western Digital, while citing its recent study, said that on average a new age content creator creates 350GB of content in a month, while a typical Bollywood movie requires about 200-300TB of storage.
