NEW DELHI: Korean handset major Samsung<\/a>\u2019s latest foldable smartphone, especially the Galaxy Z Flip 3 may attract Apple<\/a> users along with tech enthusiasts and may emerge as the best seller device for the company in its price segment, analysts said.

\u201cWe believe that Galaxy Flip 3 is going to drive not just Samsung flagship but also the first time users with that pricing. Additionally, the Ultra premium market, which is Rs 45,000 and above, is still dominated by Apple and Samsung in India. The flip with Novelty in that price range is likely to emerge as a best seller for Samsung,\u201d Tarun Pathak, associate director at Counterpoint Research<\/a> told ET.

Pathak added that the Z Flip 3\u2019s form factor has the capability to attract iOS or Apple users as well, especially the tech enthusiasts. \u201cThis is a shift in form factor and that appeals naturally to tech enthusiasts and the early adopters as well.\u201d

<\/div><\/div>Prabhu Ram, head-industry intelligence group at market intelligence firm CyberMedia Research<\/a> (CMR) said that Samsung has been able to move the needle for the foldable segment forward with its third generation foldable devices<\/a>.

\u201cBoth the foldables pack compelling hardware and software enhancements that significantly improve the overall foldable experience. While the Z Fold 3 will attract always-on-the-go tech enthusiasts, the Z Flip 3 as a definitive premium lifestyle statement is competitively priced,\u201d Ram said. \u201cThe Flip 3 is likely to attract consumer interest, going far beyond early tech adopters, this festive season.\u201d

As per sources, Samsung\u2019s latest foldable smartphones - Galaxy Z Fold3 & Galaxy Z Flip3 \u2013 secured the best ever pre-bookings for any Galaxy flagship launched in India.

The Galaxy Fold3 5G (12+256GB) is priced at Rs 1,49,999, while the 12+512GB variant is priced at Rs 1,57, 999. The Galaxy Flip 3 5G (8+128GB) is priced at Rs 84,999, while the 8+256GB variant is priced at Rs 88,999.

<\/div><\/div>Under the pre-book offer, Samsung is offering Galaxy Z Fold3 at Rs 1,42,999 and Galaxy Z Flip3 at Rs 77,999.

\u201cConsumers pre-booking Galaxy Fold3 5G and Galaxy Z Flip3 5G will be eligible for either an upgrade voucher of up to Rs 7,000 or HDFC Bank cash back of upto Rs 7,000 using credit and debit card,\u201d Samsung said in a statement.

In addition to this, consumers will be eligible for free 1 year Samsung Care+ Accidental & Liquid Damage Protection worth Rs 7,999 on pre-booking Galaxy Z Fold3 5G and Rs 4799 on pre-booking Galaxy Z Flip3 5G, as per the official statement.
