Alongside, Jio also launched its 5G-powered WiFi services at Maa Kamakhya Temple complex today. From today, Jio users in Guwahati and seven additional cities across four states of Karnataka (Hubli-Dharwad, Mangalore, Belgaum), Kerala (Chertala), Telangana (Warangal, Karimnagar) and Maharashtra (Solapur) will also be invited to the Jio Welcome Offer to experience unlimited data at up to 1Gbps speeds, according to a statement by the telco.
Jio, at a launch event in Guwahati, also demonstrated the benefits of 5G in the healthcare sector through Jio Community Clinic medical kit, AR-VR-based healthcare with JioGlass, smart healthcare solutions like teleradiology, and connected ambulance.
