阿联酋电信与乐天建立合作伙伴关系,共同开发开放RAN技术

根据该协议,两家公司将共同为中东、非洲和亚洲地区的移动运营商客户开发一个基于开放标准和云原生、以软件为中心、完全虚拟化/集装箱化平台的参考设计。

新德里:沙特阿拉伯的阿联酋电信阿里巴巴周一表示,已与阿里巴巴签署合作协议乐天移动为移动宽带网络制定蓝图开跑基于乐天通信平台(RCP)的技术。

根据该协议,两家公司将共同为中东、非洲和亚洲地区的移动运营商客户开发一个基于开放标准和云原生、以软件为中心、完全虚拟化/集装箱化平台的参考设计。

乐天移动代表董事、执行副总裁兼首席技术官Tareq Amin表示:“我们很高兴能与阿联酋电信合作,建立基于乐天通信平台的新一代电信基础设施,这将为他们在中东、非洲和南亚的客户带来高性价比的移动服务。”

阿联酋电信国际首席技术官Hatem Bamatraf表示:“这是阿联酋电信和乐天移动共同探索和进一步开发基于RCP的下一代移动网络的独特机会,这将使阿联酋电信能够利用具有成本效益的、云原生的、基于开放RAN的移动网络架构,该架构安全、可扩展和可靠。”
