Under the terms of the agreement, Antaris will provide the SaaS technology platform required to design, simulate, build and manage the earth observation satellite from GalaxEye and its onboard \u2018Drishti\u2019 sensor. Ananth<\/a> Technologies will provide AIT (Assembly, Integration and Test) services and manufacturing capabilities whereas XDLINX Labs will be responsible for the design of the spacecraft bus and supply chain integration services.
<\/div><\/div>The companies said the satellite being developed under the agreement will capture both synthetic aperture radar (SAR) and optical data together, improving the ability to correlate the data and its analytical utility. The resulting datasets will be valuable for applications in the environmental, insurance, and defense sectors, the statement added.
The satellite is expected to launch in Q4 2023.
