\"New threats are coming up. There is a hybrid multi-cloud future. The benefits include seamless and fast connection and continuous access grant while eliminating unnecessary decision making steps,\" Crystal Miceli, Vice President,
Cisco<\/a> Business Group said.

Cisco has also unveiled artificial intelligence (AI)-driven security policy management that creates and implements firewall policies intelligently, according to the executive.

The release, Miceli said, is a part of Cisco's endeavour to offer cost-effective security controls. The company said that it is committed to integrate AI capabilities with its business strategies across its portfolio.

The networking and security company is investing in cutting-edge innovations in artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) that it said would empower security teams by simplifying operations and increasing efficacy.

The executive, as a part of preview briefing, further said that Cisco's secure access offering reduces time between virtual private network (VPN) and Zero Trust.

The US multinational also launched a multi-cloud defence platform, that would facilitate easier transition from public cloud for IT teams, and has also unveiled Cisco Secure Firewall 4200 and 7.4 OS, which according to the executive, simplifies branch routing features.

Early this year, Cisco acquired Valtix that supported the company's security cloud vision for providing protection across multi cloud environments.
