Musk has been looking for a number of finance sources in order to complete his purchase of Twitter<\/a>. Musk hinted on Monday that the acquisition of the microblogging site could be finalised for a lesser price.

Musk, who put his $44 billion offer to buy Twitter on hold on Friday pending details on spam accounts, believes such accounts for at least 20% of users, compared to Twitter's official estimates of 5%.
Twitter chief executive officer Parag Agrawal<\/a> tweeted earlier on Monday that internal estimates of spam accounts on the social media platform for the last four quarters were \"well under 5%,\" responding to days of criticism by Musk of the company's handling of fake accounts.
