Mukesh Ambani-owned Reliance Jio<\/a> has managed to beat its rival telecom operators Airtel<\/a> and Vodafone Idea<\/a> in terms of the user base in Delhi-region. The telco has added over 30,000 mobile phone users in May this year. After this new addition, the total subscriber base has crossed 1.83 crore subscribers in the national capital.

As per the data released by Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI), the telco has maintained its top spot in Delhi for the last couple of months.

On the other hand, both
Airtel<\/a> and Vodafone-Idea<\/a> lost over 2 lakh and 3 lakh customers respectively in May in Delhi. Both Airtel and Vodafone-Idea<\/a> have reported the customer base of 1.51 crore and 1.61 crore respectively by the period ended May.

Recently, the RIL-owned telecom company also revamped its
broadband plans<\/a> for its JioFiber<\/a> users in India. These plans have been rolled out for new customers starting at Rs 399 per month and go up to Rs 1,499 per month. The plans offer unlimited data and voice calling benefits but vary in terms of data speed and access to OTT apps.

The base plan of Rs 399 offers data at 30Mbps speed, the Rs 699 plan offers data at a 100 Mbps speed, the Rs 999 plan offers 150 Mbps speed and subscription to 11 OTT apps worth Rs 1,000 and lastly the Rs 1,499 plan offers data speed of 300Mbps speed and subscription to 12 OTT apps worth Rs 1,000. The last two plans include subscriptions as part of these plans and there is no additional cost for the OTT apps for the plans, claims
