The lab seeks to drive innovations to make Oppo devices more energy-efficient with the current use cases by developing real-life scenarios, the smartphone brand said.

“The lab will aim to augment user experience even with heavy usages like gaming, photography, videography, video calling, and streaming by driving innovations towards building smoother performance and higher battery life,” it added.

The lab engineers will further work on other performance-related aspects including battery retentions and improving device heating for a better user experience.
