Notably, Samsung, Oppo, Vivo, and

According to media reports, the phones are likely to be named
OnePlus V Fold<\/a> and OnePlus V Flip<\/a>, as the brand has already trademarked these two names. The phones may fold in horizontal or vertical ways. However, the brand has not yet revealed specifications, pricing, or exact availability details yet.

The global foldable phones market is seeing a healthy growth momentum. According to a Counterpoint Research report, global foldable smartphone shipments are expected to grow 52% year-over-year in FY 2023 to reach 22.7 million units.

For FY2022, analysts at the research firm have forecasted that global foldable shipments will amount to 14.9 million units. Cumulative shipments in Q1-Q3 2022 grew 90% year-over-year to 9.5 million units, according to the firm’s report. However, global foldable smartphone shipment growth is set to decline in Q4 2022 due to global inflation and the economic downturn.

At the Cloud 11 event,
OnePlus<\/a> also unveiled its 5G router, and forayed into the tablet segment and PC peripherals segment with the launch of its first tablet (OnePlus Pad<\/a>) and keyboard, respectively. The brand also expanded its Internet of Things (IoT<\/a>) ecosystem with the launch of the OnePlus 11 5G smartphone series, new 4K QLED TV, and TWS earbuds with spatial audio feature.
