NEW DELHI: Delhi based internet service provider Nextra<\/a> Teleservices has denied holding any talks with ACT<\/a> Fibernet regarding possible acquisition or investment. Last week, Atria Convergence Technologies CEO Bala Malladi told ET that the company was in talks with players like Nextra, Spectranet<\/a> and Excitel<\/a> Broadband for a possible acquisition, which would allow the former to expand presence in the country and provide reach in newer markets beyond the south region.

\nNikhil Bansal, CEO, Nextra Teleservices, in a statement said “We are a self-sustained organization with a growing customer base. Claims made by ACT are baseless and do not hold any credibility.\"

\nSpectranet and Excitel Broadband also denied holding exploratory talks with ACT.

\n\"Even more, now with an “A” Category ISP license, we have further expanded our services in other states like Rajasthan, U.P, Haryana, Maharashtra, Punjab and will soon be operational in other parts of India,\" Bansal said.
