Jio in a statement said that its True 5G services are now available in 20 cities including Bongaigaon, North Lakhimpur, Sivasagar, Tinsukia (Assam), Bhagalpur, Katihar (Bihar), Mormugao (Goa), Diu (Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu), Gandhidham (Gujarat), Bokaro Steel City, Deoghar, Hazaribag (Jharkhand), Raichur (Karnataka), Satna (Madhya Pradesh), Chandrapur, Ichalkaranji (Maharashtra), Thoubal (Manipur), Faizabad, Firozabad, Muzaffarnagar (Uttar Pradesh).

Jio aims to complete the 5G roll out by December 2023. By contrast, Bharti Airtel has launched its 5G Plus services in over 100 cities and plans to complete the roll out by March 2024.

Jio users in these cities will be invited to the
Jio Welcome Offer<\/a>, to experience unlimited data at up to 1 Gbps speeds, at no additional cost, starting today.

With the launch of Jio’s True 5G services, consumers will get growth opportunities in the areas of e-governance, education, automation, Artificial Intelligence, gaming, healthcare, agriculture, IT, and SMEs, according to the telco.
