IN-SPACe is an autonomous entity created recently under the
Department of Space<\/a> (DoS) to regulate and promote space activities by non-government entities.

Jain will be “shortly moving to Ahmedabad” for his latest assignment, the person familiar with the matter told ETTelecom.

At space organisation, he was responsible for the frequency spectrum management and coordination for acquiring orbit-spectrum resources for India's space programme at national and international level, and planning of the space segment for communication satellites and their utilization.

Satcom<\/a> Planning at ISRO, he has served at the national space agency for over 30 years in areas of Radio Frequency<\/a> (RF) satellite communication, ground systems design, development, system engineering, and project management; remote sensing receive and satcom ground stations installation & commissioning, satcom applications like tele-education, telemedicine, very small aperture terminals (VSATs) network configuration design, link analysis, and more.
