IIT-K启动技术创新中心,为反无人机技术寻找网络安全解决方案

NEW DELHI: Indian Institute of Technology<\/a>, Kanpur (IIT-K) on Friday launched the first technology innovation<\/a> hub to find cyber security<\/a> solutions for anti-drones technologies, intrusion detection system, block-chain and cyber physical system. As many as 13 start-ups and 25 research and development principal investigators were selected after a rigorous application process. \u201cThe presence of cutting- edge technology in cyber security is accompanied by an increasing need to protect digital assets and deploy solutions for the common public as well as government and industry,\u201d said a statement issued by IIT-K.

Prof. Ashutosh Sharma, secretary, department of Science and Technology, Government of India, \u201c \u201cThe Government is committed to bring India to a leadership position in cyber security.
IIT Kanpur<\/a>\u2019s C3i hub will focus on safeguarding cyberspace including critical infrastructure.\u201d The government is promoting Make-in India cyber security solutions to counter rising threats from neighbouring countries, particularly China. It may be recalled that power grid failure in Mumbai was allegedly linked to a cyber attackers from China.

Similarly, the government is trying to promote make in India equipment for critical sectors like banking, railways, telecom and power. Speaking during the event, Prof Abhay Karandikar, IIT-K director said, \u201cWe are excited to launch the first set of start-ups cohort in cyber security. Over the next few years, C3iHub is committed to create a vibrant ecosystem of cyber security start-ups fostering world class innovations\u201d.
