At KPMG, he oversaw and drove business momentum for marquee platinum accounts, sources told TOI. Prior to that, Easwaran was a partner in Accenture Management Consulting. An email sent to Wipro didn\u2019t elicit a response till the time of going to press.

Wipro CEO Thierry Delaporte<\/a> has bolstered its leadership team by onboarding several senior regional leaders. Recently, he appointed Badrinath Srinivasan, who was with Infosys, as the managing director for Southeast Asia, to focus on business growth, revenue expansion, client and influencer relationships, talent development, and brand building. Southeast Asia is one of the six focus regions that comprise Wipro's APMEA (Asia-Pacific, Middle East, India, and Africa) strategic market unit.

Delaporte is trying to improve win rates in large strategic transformational engagements and regional leaders are custodians of driving these key relationships.

<\/div><\/div>Last year, Wipro buried the structure of seven strategic business units (SBUs), service lines and nine geographies, and instead have four strategic market units (SMUs) and two global business lines (GBLs).

In the past, Wipro's India team has undergone a few makeovers from being the India & Middle East (I&ME) markets to being reorganized into two separate businesses to cash in on the domestic demand for IT services with the government embarking on large-scale digital transformation projects.
