\"After<\/figure> New Delhi:<\/strong> Bharti Airtel<\/a> on Friday said that it has discontinued 3G<\/a> services in Kerala<\/a> and its 3G customers have now been upgraded to 4G<\/a>, having discontinued its 3G network<\/a> in Haryana recently.

In Kerala, the service provider has re-farmed 2100 Mhz band, which was being used for 3G, to further strengthen its 4G network and now uses a solid spectrum bank across 2300 Mhz (TD LTE), 2100 Mhz (LTE 2100), and 1800 Mhz (FD LTE) to offer 4G services to customers.

The telco said that its 2G services will continue to be available in the state to serve the connectivity needs of customers on feature phones.

<\/div><\/div>It added that 3G customers were duly notified and requested to upgrade their handsets and SIMs. 3G customers who are yet to upgrade their handsets and SIMs will continue to get access to voice services.
