自10月1日起,5G服务扩展到50个城镇:瓦什瑙

部长表示,为了促进电信网络(包括5G)的推出和电信基础设施的扩展,政府已经采取了各种政策举措,例如通过拍卖为移动服务提供足够的频谱,允许频谱共享和交易,取消频谱共享0.5%的额外频谱使用费(SUC),允许tsp共享基础设施。

自10月1日推出5G服务以来,电信运营商已将5G服务扩展到全国50个城镇Ashwini Vaishnaw说。部长在回答议会关于5 g网络他说,5G网络的推出正处于初始阶段。“但是,没有收到任何反馈/投诉电信服务提供商(tsp)为5G网络可用的5G用户所面临的任何困难,”Vaishnaw说。

在回答有关5G在全国范围内扩展的问题时,部长表示,从5G频谱分配之日起,需要在五年内分阶段履行最低推出义务。Vaishnaw说:“在强制推出义务之外,移动网络的进一步扩展取决于tsp的技术商业考虑。”

在另一个关于5G关税的问题上,Vaishnaw表示,电信公司报告称,他们目前正在用支持5G的设备向用户提供5G服务,无需额外费用。

政府已经拍卖了72,098 MHz的频谱(技术中立),其中51,236.2 MHz(即总数的71%)分配给了tsp,出价为1.5万亿卢比。

关于电信网络安全,内阁安全委员会已经批准了关于电信部门的国家安全指令(NSDTS),该指令要求电信公司只能从可信来源采购和部署可信产品。该指令已于2021年6月15日起生效,许可证已进行了适当修订。

The Minister said in order to facilitate rollout of telecom network (including 5G) and expansion of telecommunication infrastructure, the government has taken various
policy<\/a> initiatives such as making sufficient spectrum available for mobile services through auction, allowing spectrum sharing and trading, removal of additional spectrum usage charge<\/a> (SUC) of 0.5% for spectrum sharing, allowing sharing of infrastructure by TSPs.

To a question about expansion of 5G across the country, the Minister said the minimum rollout obligations are required to be met over a period of five years in a phased manner from the date of allocation of 5G spectrum. \u201cFurther expansion of mobile network beyond the mandatory rollout obligations, depends on the techno-commercial consideration of the TSPs,\u201d Vaishnaw said.
